Hi, I’m Natalie! I’ve spent the last 18 years of my life on skates, growing from a little girl who simply loved to skate into a National Champion, Team USA athlete, professional roller skater, and coach.

Throughout my competitive career, I’ve had the opportunity to train internationally and learn from incredible coaches, choreographers, dancers, and performers. My training has gone far beyond simply learning skating technique. I’ve spent years developing my understanding of movement, performance, artistry, body control, and what it takes to truly connect with an audience on skates.

For the past six years, I’ve also worked professionally in the skating and entertainment industry. My career has taken me from competitive skating floors to television, film, commercials, music videos, runway shows, and live performances. I’ve had the opportunity to perform alongside artists including Diana Ross and Nile Rodgers, and skate professionally for brands and productions including Chanel, HBO Max, Snapchat, Optimum Nutrition, YoungLA, SUPER73, and El Pollo Loco. I’ve also competed on Roller Jam and worked as a skating stunt performer on film.

Those experiences have allowed me to learn an entirely different side of skating, including how to perform for a camera, adapt choreography, work with creative teams, pick up movement quickly, and turn skating technique into a performance.

I also hold a degree in Kinesiology, giving me a deeper understanding of how the body moves and how we can train smarter, stronger, and more intentionally. My goal is to continue that education through physical therapy and ultimately use it to better serve skaters and performers.

But after 18 years of competing, performing, learning, winning, losing, and growing, I think one of the easiest things to forget is also the most important: we started skating because we love it.

No matter your level or your goals, I believe that love should always be at the center of why we skate. We skate because we love the feeling of it, the challenge of growing, and the freedom it gives us to express ourselves. Even when learning gets difficult or frustrating, that passion is what keeps us coming back.

That is what drives me as a coach. I want to give skaters of every level access to the knowledge I’ve spent years learning mentally, physically, technically, and artistically, so they never feel limited by simply not knowing how to do something. I want to give you the tools to become the best version of yourself on skates and the freedom to explore whatever you want your skating to become.

Because at the end of the day, we skate because we love it. And the more tools we have, the more freely we can express that love to its fullest extent.
